If you're here, you're probably one of us, sharing our vision for a brighter world . You're crazy enough to dream big, to aspire to do things differently, to follow your heart, and (most importantly!) to be the change you want to see in the world. And this community is here to support you.
In the spirit of this, we're offering a $1000 scholarship to those two individuals with the most inspiring answers to three crucial questions.
Ready? All you need to do it answer the questions below. The easiest way to enter is by joining here and following the instructions to fill out your application online.
Once you've answered them you can complete your profile and post your responses on your blog, so that others can help support and so that you can encourage them in return. After all, there are many young people already here, striving to achieve and create change, and a few words can make a big difference to someone shy about their dreams. You never know how much of an impact your voice might have. (Plus, our judges have a soft spot for applicants who are active on the site.)

The Gaia Community Autumn scholarship closes on December 31st 2008.
The Questions: (click the link for the online form)
1) What is your purpose? (25 words or less.) If you had to describe your calling in life, what would you say? What are you here to do? What gift is yours to give to the world?
2) What do you love, and how do (or will) your actions demonstrate this? (250 words or less.) We at Gaia believe that following your heart is the best way to help the whole planet. What do you care about, and what do you most enjoy doing?
3) Write your ideal job description. (250 words or less.) Forget about job titles like 'doctor' or 'artist' or 'lawyer.' If you could get paid just to live, how would you spend your time? What would you devote your life to? What would your days be like?
And when we say 250 words, we mean it. :) If you want to write more — and we hope you do! — why not set up your profile and start your first blog entry? These questions are meant to be just a beginning.
